A UNESCO World Heritage Site. The monastery is one of the most significant and impressive religious complexes in Catania. A remarkable example of Sicilian Baroque, today parts of the complex are used for cultural and educational purposes by the University of Catania.
This church is located within the vast complex of the Monastero dei Benedettini in Catania. Along with the entire Monastero dei Benedettini complex, it has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, contributing to the rich tapestry of Catania’s historical and architectural legacy.
The Radicepura Horticultural Park was commissioned by the famous Faro Family Sicilian nursery. The Park covers 5 hectares and is in the shadow of the volcano Mount Etna where the rich fertile soil has fostered the growth of over 5,000 varieties and 3,000 species of plants. The Greenhouse is a modern and functional glass building ideal for conferences and events, hydraulically and energetically self sustaining thanks to the use of solar panels.
