Key Programme Venues

Monastero dei Benedettini

A UNESCO World Heritage Site. The monastery is one of the most significant and impressive religious complexes in Catania. A remarkable example of Sicilian Baroque, today parts of the complex are used for cultural and educational purposes by the University of Catania.

San Nicolò Church

This church is located within the vast complex of the Monastero dei Benedettini in Catania. The church features intricate detailing, both on its exterior and interior, showcasing the artistic and architectural styles of the Sicilian Baroque. Along with the entire Monastero dei Benedettini complex, it has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, contributing to the rich tapestry of Catania’s historical and architectural legacy.
