About the award

This award recognises teams who have developed an innovative business concept that addresses a particular social need.

Eligibility for this award is limited to teams from the following countries: Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, and Japan.

Criteria

 

  1. Impact (40%):
    1. To what extent the idea/solution has potential for significant social impact and engagement of the broader community? (individual, community, systemic)
    2. How impactful is the proposed idea/solution addressing social, ethical and environmental issues?
  2. Innovation (30%):
    1. To what extent is it a novel solution with the potential to solve an existing and well-defined challenge/need?
    2. How well is the business/ social problem and opportunity clearly defined?
  3. Feasibility & Scalability (30%):
    1. To what extent the idea/business has a favourable market size and competitive landscape that offers high potential for substantial growth?
    2. How compelling is the business model (realistic and viable)?
