The winner of the national competition organized by Junior Achievement Macedonia is “ChocoProbio” from Prilep. The students impressed the jury with their product “Chocolate with probiotics”. Their chocolate consists of a simple recipe made from natural ingredients such as cocoa, butter, and natural sweeteners, which are supplemented with probiotics and vitamin C.
In the seventh edition of the national competitions, 116 students from 21 schools in 12 cities across the country guided by 25 teachers participated in the competition on 25-26 April in Struga. The “Choco Probio” team is the best among 24 other student companies and is nominated for the “Gen-E Company of the Year” competition, which will take place in Italy in July. The visitors were mostly attracted by the stage presentations and videos as well as the inspiring speeches. Jury member Bojan Kjuka feels like he had the hardest task but noted “The teams are amazing and shown seriousness like real businesses; The skills presented at the stands are those needed for labor market and business world”. As a student, Fidan from company Innovate.it, admitted: “We have practiced and rehearsed a lot, but here the competitiveness is big; we know that there is no recipes for success, but from year to year we learned to improve our presentation skills and impress jury”, “Through years, participating at JA events, I have met teachers from other cities and we have become friends and collaborators out of our schools” added Vesna Crneska Simonovska, teacher mentor from Skopje.
