The #Gen_E 2026 Tour continued its journey across Europe with a powerful stop in Sweden, where Ung Företagsamhet (JA Sweden) showcased the strength, creativity, and determination of the country’s young entrepreneurs, who are already creating solutions for real-world challenges.
The event concluded with the announcement of ReScan UF as Company of the Year, earning the opportunity to represent Sweden at Gen-E 2026 in Riga. Sweden’s success is built on more than outstanding student companies. Every year, Ung Företagsamhet delivers more than 40,000 learning experiences every year in the JA Company Programme, making it the leading country in Europe.
This achievement is the result of a remarkable ecosystem working toward a shared goal: preparing young people for the future. Board members, staff, regional teams, teachers, volunteers, partners, and institutions all contribute to creating opportunities for students to develop entrepreneurial, financial, and work readiness skills.
The importance of entrepreneurship education in Sweden was reflected in the high-level attendance at the event. Participants included H.R.H. Prince Daniel, Prime Minister, Johan Britz, Minister for Employment, and Benjamin Dousa, Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade.
Their presence underscored the national commitment to equipping young people with the skills, mindset, and confidence needed to succeed in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing world.
As the road to Gen-E 2026 continues, Sweden stands as a powerful example of what can be achieved when educators, institutions, businesses, and communities unite around a common purpose: empowering the next generation to create opportunities, drive innovation, and shape the future.
