JA Spain Celebrates 25 Years of Impact as the Gen-E 2026 Tour Arrives in Madrid

Madrid hosted a landmark stop of the #Gen_E 2026 Tour as Junior Achievement Spain celebrated its 25th anniversary, marking a quarter century of empowering young people through entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial capabilities.

Over the past 25 years, JA Spain has built one ecosystem for entrepreneurship education, connecting schools, educators, volunteers, partners, and institutions around a shared mission: preparing young people to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

The national competition brought together some of Spain’s most promising young entrepreneurs, showcasing innovative business ideas and solutions with the potential to create meaningful impact. The event highlighted the creativity, ambition, and entrepreneurial mindset of students from across the country while celebrating the achievements of an organisation that has helped shape generations of young talent.

A special congratulations goes to Eskalium and ReCero, recognised for projects that combined innovation, relevance, and strong execution. Following their success at the national level, both teams will represent Spain at Gen-E 2026 in Riga, Europe’s largest entrepreneurship festival for young people.

Their achievement reflects the quality of entrepreneurial talent being developed through JA Spain’s programmes and demonstrates the value of experiential learning in helping young people transform ideas into viable solutions.

The 25th anniversary celebration offered an opportunity not only to recognise past achievements but also to reaffirm a commitment to the future. As economies and labour markets continue to evolve, entrepreneurship education remains a strategic tool for helping young people develop resilience, adaptability, creativity, and initiative.
