NextVision, a student company from 108. “Nikola Belovezhdov” Secondary School in Sofia, has been selected to represent Bulgaria at #Gen_E 2026 in Riga after winning JA Bulgaria’s Rising Stars competition on 6 June in Sofia.
The team is developing OxyBox, a smart food box designed to show when food is starting to spoil and help reduce food waste. Created by students with a strong interest in innovation and sustainable technologies, the venture combines practicality with a clear sustainability focus.
With its smart approach to food preservation and waste reduction, NextVision is bringing a timely and relevant solution to the Gen‑E stage. Congratulations to NextVision, and we look forward to meeting the team at #Gen_E 2026 in Riga, Latvia.
