In ‘Prof. Ivan Apostolov’ Private English Language School, most teachers and all students participate in project-based training programmes during the entire course of their secondary education. The teachers involved teach various subjects related to science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics and entrepreneurship. The students participate in various national and international competitions which fosters a competitive environment. The students tackle various practical issues and come up with and realize vital social and innovative business ideas. The school’s innovative curriculum, the Agile learning methodology and the Design Thinking in entrepreneurship education help students acquire skills for teamwork and leadership in the field of entrepreneurship, ICT and science.

Our school is attended by male and female students who mainly come from the Lakatamia – Anthoupoli area and belong to all social and economic strata of the population. Our school, alongside the achievement of learning outcomes, also places particular importance on the development of the social, creative and business skills of our students. That is why our teachers encourage and guide students to participate in activities outside of school, including participation in voluntary actions, seminars and skills development programmes, in European programmes and competitions.

The school provides secondary vocational education preparing students for a future professional career as well as further university studies. The school offers a number of advantages: the latest material and technical equipment of IT classrooms, laboratories and vocational training workshops; excellent preconditions to study electrical engineering, information technology, furniture making, mechanical engineering, the economy of transport and logistics; cooperation with important regional companies improving the graduates’ prospects on the labour market.

Slotshaven Gymnasium is an upper secondary education school located in a more outer part of Denmark on the coastline. The school offers academic business and technical upper secondary educations and houses approximately 600 students and 50 teachers.

The motto of Põltsamaa Secondary School is ‘To be the creator of good assumptions’. Developing entrepreneurship education plays an important role in creating good conditions and has been important to the school for many years. Entrepreneurship education takes place from the first to the twelfth grade thanks to the cooperation of teachers, the integration of subjects, bringing real life into school life, and the involvement of experts in the field of entrepreneurship. Every year there are more and more mini-mini companies, mini companies and student companies operating in the school.

Focused on helping students succeed in their academic and professional careers, the school offers 11 courses from 3ème to BTS, and welcomes an average of 265 students, apprentices and continuing education trainees.

The school management is interested in the innovative ideas of the students, promotes them and tries to use every opportunity, all human and material resources for the cognitive development of the students. With the active involvement and support of the school self-government, the club has been among the winners more than once. We hope that the successes achieved in the entrepreneurial education program, will become motivation for many children. We expect only success ahead.

TSS Bitburg has 1,281 pupils. There are currently 13 full-time classes at the Theobald-Simon-Schule, in which 245 pupils are taught by 56 teachers. It also offers part-time courses. 30 training occupations can be taught. The pupils are divided into 57 part-time classes. The Theobald Simon School’s foreign language offerings include English, French and Spanish. The school offers a basic training course for the fire department. It has a school band, a cafeteria and several PC rooms. A school social worker is employed. The school also offers projects such as “Leonardo da Vinci” (mobility), “Medienkonzept macht Schule”, “Babybedenkzeit”, events on violence and addiction prevention; it participates in the Comenius program.

The 1st General High School of Elefsina is a public institution with 450 students aged 16-18 years old, which prepares students for the final national exams with success over the years. This school is particularly active in extracurricular activities, as they have undertaken quite a few projects, either national or European ones on various topics. The school has taken part in a lot of environmental, ecological and cultural programmes and won prizes and distinctions over the years. The students have also participated in entrepreneurship activities and events and have set up their own student businesses with amazing results, in the context of Company Programme of JA Greece. The team of teachers have extensive experience with the procedures and unexpected issues and obstacles which may occur in the process, always willing to share the experience they gain with their colleagues. The school features a diverse student body comprising individuals from various nationalities, including those with migrant backgrounds, contributing to its rich multicultural environment.

The school is located in the northern region of Hungary, and its beginnings date back to the 1910s. Currently, students study Business and Management and Information Technology. At the end of the 5-year training, they can acquire the profession of Financial Accounting Clerk and Entrepreneurial Clerk. The school cooperates with the surrounding universities (University of Debrecen; University of Nyíregyháza). The institution places great emphasis on the opportunities for students to participate in various competitions outside of class and on their preparation, so they achieve excellent results in many professional, sports and general knowledge competitions.

The Commercial College of Iceland is a three-year senior high school/college for students 15 years+ who have completed the Icelandic elementary school (grades 1-10). The College serves the whole of Iceland and has a student population of about a thousand students. It is organized on the basis of a form system, all students in the same form having the same timetable. The Commercial College of Iceland was founded in 1905 by the Store and Office Workers’ Union and the Retailers’ Association in Reykjavik. The original objective was to give young people the opportunity of a basic commercial education. The school has steadily grown and developed since its inception. In 1996 the course offering was revised, leading to a reorganization of the streaming system and an increase in the number of courses offered.

The State Technical Institute took on its current name starting from the 2011-2012 school year, following the merger of the ‘Enrico Fermi’ Technical Institute for Surveyors with the ‘Silvano Fedi’ Industrial Technical Institute. The school is located in the western area of Pistoia. The course of study has a total duration of five years, divided into a common first two-year period and three-year periods (two years plus one) for the study areas in: Environmental Chemistry and Biotechnology, Construction, Environment and Territory, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Telecommunications, Mechanics and Mechatronics. The Fedi-Fermi Institute also offers an evening course for working students.

Ogre Technical School has 1,500 students in various specialties: forestry, mechanical engineering, hotel and restaurant services, administrative work, computer science and electronics, design and art, woodworking and construction works. One of the tasks of the Ogre Technical School is to promote entrepreneurship and build a new generation of entrepreneurs. Since 2014, the school has developed a successful cooperation with Junior Achievement Latvia. The school takes part in various JA Latvia activities: develops student companies, and takes part in different programmes such as TechTrack, Leadership programme and others. As of 2021, students of the Ogre Technical School have been provided with the opportunity to take the Entrepreneurial Skills Pass credential.

Mazekiai M. Račkauskas Gymnasium excels in entrepreneurship education with a clear vision to foster understanding and appreciation of entrepreneurship among students. The school actively participates in national and international contests and events, organising field trips to local enterprises for practical learning. A range of events and meetings focus on developing crucial 21st-century skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership. With a cadre of expert teachers, the gymnasium provides integrated lessons and extracurricular activities, supported by online resources. Collaboration with local businesses and vocational schools enriches the learning experience, while participation in international projects like Nordplus Junior and Erasmus+ enhances students’ global perspective.

Verdala International School, is a non-selective international school, and has operated on the Mediterranean island of Malta for over 40 years catering for students from age 3 – 18 years. Our school has been in existence for over 100 years. It offers a total of 16 educational programmes. Rade Jovchevski Korchagin high school was established on 1960 as the Fourth Gymnasium in Skopje. Today, the school has 999 students, aged 14 to 18, distributed in 32 classes, 8 classes in each academic year. The school is one of the most renowned in the country, carrying best results in the State Matura Exam every year, and numerous first place in state competitions from different fields, such as: environmental protection, renewable energy sources, social entrepreneurship, youth mental health, prevention of violence and bullying, Red Cross activities, etc. In terms of EU projects, the school successfully implements projects from the Erasmus+ KA101 program and was the leading school in the KA2 projects. The school also has the LabelFrancEducation label with which the school has international cooperation with international francophone school. With the Junior Achievement projects our students and their mentors have also participated in various international events and won numerous awards.

The School Complex of the Continuing Education Center in Wojsławice is a modern agricultural education facility where future farmers are prepared to become entrepreneurs. The school educates in the following professions: agricultural technician, food and catering services technician, agricultural mechanization technician and agrotronics. The school tries to prepare students for future professions, as well as to function in society and be competitive on the labor market. The development of professional and 4K competences are crucial for the school authority. In the European context, a lot of focus is put on key competences: knowledge of foreign languages, use of modern information and communication techniques, working in project teams (including international ones) and problem-solving skills. Vocational competences combined with concern for consumer health and the quality of the natural environment are of great importance in Wojsławice School.

The Lisbon Psychosocial Technical School (ETPL) is a vocational school that has been operating since 1991, training technicians in the social field, specifically in the Psychosocial Support Technician course. The school’s educational project aims to combine scientific rigor with responsible freedom. School activities are organised in a way that allows the involved community to dynamically participate in various activities. ETPL’s objectives include promoting activities aimed at teaching, research, and the dissemination of knowledge. As a vocational education space, it is responsible for providing appropriate preparation for the exercise of qualified professional activities, and it should also contribute to improving the cultural and educational level of the population and to the development of the surrounding community.

For 65 years, the Medical School in Čačak has been educating the most humane and noble members of society: future doctors, nurses, educators, teachers, pharmacists, physiotherapists and laboratory technicians. In this process, we cooperate with the entire community and with all health institutions in the city: the city hospital, health centers, pharmacies and kindergartens. The medical school in Čačak has recognized the importance of developing entrepreneurial education because key sectors of society will depend on the students who attend this school. In October 2022 Medical School in Čačak has received Maker’s Lab from The Education Group that is an informal group consisting of Nordeus Foundation, Center for Promotion of Science, Digital Serbia Initiative and Junior Achievement Serbia with a goal to support the educational system in Serbia. Maker’s Lab is multidisciplinary classroom contributes to the promotion and implementation of STEAME fields (science, technology, engineering, math, entrepreneurship).

In its more than a century of existence, the Secondary Vocational School of Business and Services in Nové Mesto nad Váhom has prepared professionally and personally over thirty thousand graduates of study and teaching fields in business and crafts. It is a modern educational institution that prepares graduates for life and work in the future. It is involved in the system of dual education, which helps students to more easily acquire gained theoretical knowledge from various fields and to be able to apply it in practice. It builds on cooperation with companies, entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations. Students solve various business projects and activities through student companies, with which they participate in various business competitions in Slovakia and abroad. It is a place where every student can develop his talent according to his needs and possibilities and is a proof of how much education is related to real life.

Nebrija-Torre de Hércules is a vocational training school located in A Coruña (Galicia) with a diverse student body, including 20% of international students. It focuses on Basic and Intermediate vocational training courses in the fields of Commerce, Office Administration and Healthcare. Our school is committed not only to the education of our students, preparing them to face today’s world of work, but also to the opportunity to contribute to the development of our society through innovative and sustainable projects, collaborating with organizations and administrations to strengthen their impact. Students take charge, tackling real challenges in assigned projects. While teachers set the class framework, each project is student-driven, demanding research and evolution. This approach empowers students, honing skills vital for diverse workplace scenarios.

Billingskolan has many open spaces and a unique roof landscape with an oculus that brings in light, as well as pause areas and an atrium courtyard. Approximately 400 students attend this school, from preschool to grade 6, as well as after-school care. The school offers both primary school and adapted primary school. The school’s ambition is that when students leave, they should not only have acquired the basic knowledge, but also be equipped with a strong belief in their own abilities and a well-developed curiosity.

Around 1,400 pupils are taught by over 180 teachers at the Gymnasium Kirchenfeld in Bern. After a four-year programme, students receive the gymnasiale Matura diploma, which allows them to enter colleges and universities without an examination. The Gymnasium is divided into three departments: GH (Humanities and Humanities), MN (Mathematics and Natural Sciences) and WR (Economics and Law). The three departments are under one roof and are headed by André Lorenzetti, who has overall responsibility for the school. The departments differ significantly in terms of the specialisation of the respective students and are thus very different from each other in terms of subject, structure and staff. The approximately 350 students in the WR department all specialise in Business and Law. The department is headed by headmistress Samantha Wolf. The profile-building ‘MyStartUp’ project is the flagship of the WR department. It is supported by all of the 50 or so teachers affiliated with the WR department. The YES Company Programme is an integral part of the ‘MyStartUp’ project.

Our school is a well-established school founded in 1973 with Turkish-Japanese cooperation. We have graduates who have made a name for themselves especially in the Maritime field and have become experts in their profession. Our school also provides education in the fields of Informatics, Electrical-Electronics, Food, Chemistry, Machinery, Technology Design, and Shipbuilding. Our students can code in Computer Laboratories, print from 3D printers, build electrical and electronic circuits, and build robots and drones. Each field continues its own equipped training. Penweddig is a Welsh Medium 11-18 Comprehensive School in Aberystwyth, Wales. Penweddig school will be celebrating its 50th birthday in September. Penweddig’s catchment area is Aberystwyth and its surrounding rural villages with its sixth form having intake from further afield. The school has approximately 620 learners ages 11-18. Approximately half of the pupils come from non-Welsh speaking backgrounds and 34% of pupils are on the Additional Learning Needs register.
